We are shifting species and gear constantly! The summer showers have been moving through and we are still on the water as summer attempts to wear a Fall coat. We have seen ribbons, occasional macks , some blues, shot on drum, albies; it is changing each trip and not a smorgasbord so it is a matter of what is where, is it half or all day, has the wind switched! Crews have been fantastic and regulars have gotten to see some new things and new folks what half days may be. Grab your significant other! Grab the kids! Grab the family or friends. It is what you make it and Nat Geo is a show filmed for weeks! We got hours!

Can fishing be difficult? YES! lol. We have had a good summer but know that it is still fishing and we may be working hard to put it in the box. That is an awful big place out there and fish move, get hot, get cold, swim and don’t eat, eat on a full moon, stare at you and dare you!

Some fish are too small to keep and some are too big! The law is the law and that is why we have digital! Regardless the best train of thought is to go with the flow and relax. It is nature, it is not work, you do not have to clean up when you leave, and believe me; we think fish all the time trying to cooperate with nature (you will notice I did NOT say dominate, overpower, rule as that is…well…ridiculous).
