Lets Cast it out there

You could be reading this in your cottage or cubicle! Either way , we are still fishing and I wanted to do our folks justice by getting the pictures up as fast as I was able!

It is about the family getting together, hanging out here be it rain or shine! We started off the last two weeks with the first of the fish as our early summer has been a bit…well…weird. Snow up North in the country and hot and cold faucet on tap here.

We have had folks traveling far to go to new jobs. Across the pond and then some. We have had people waiting to come aboard and start the jokes; no bananas, a dollar on the biggest, and five dollars on the most fish caught! Does not matter! You never have to keep any!

You can catch and release and I can do it without touching the skin of the fish on most species. Digital works great for memories!

It is your trip and we attempt to do that every day. Does it always work? Nope! lol Nature rules and we do our best to operate within that! We have had wonderful folks who kept us completely untied. I have been stacked up early and again, I am sorry we have missed some folks but I hope to see you all next time. You can always call us at home early to get that date on the books so you know you have it in the timeframe you are here!

I have more coming up! We have already seen a few species on deck and on release! What more can you ask for when we have already officially had a hurricane, tropical storm, NW blow, sunshine, then rain? Then fish, then running to fish , then sunburn stories lol. We seem to be getting it on a Stephen King level of late!

Father , son, and brother all holding mackeral fish. sunny day, blue water in a white boat cockpit. all smiles.

stay tuned as we are now on the next run.

***Currently the winds are NE 20 with spotty rain. Yes , yes we are not Washington state. We are just East and on the Bay side at present.

We are still in and out with other boats at present and the fishing report today was some blues and one or two spanish on the good water. As I know it, you can see it on the social media. You can get your feelings hurt if the fish do not cooperate period. I like to see things for myself as always. If you are here we are day to day with sunshine due Thursday to Friday weekend. Remember; you are not at HOME folks! For those of us with gray hair the days here were monopoly for three days, books, maybe a movie, no phone, no tv (yep no AC either), walks in between the weather looking for beach glass and shells! Puzzle table and adult beverage of your choice if need be! Your environment changes ! The restaurants still have curbside ! take it home and put that picnic blanket down. Old School!

Next week we are already booking post Father’s Day. 85F and sunshine is the forecast. If you are coming in I would encourage you to decide what may be your day!

Thank you and to those not pictured here yet, those photos are coming up!
