Be a Fisherman they said…

Well no, my folks didn’t . They were not exactly ecstatic when I jumped aboard but they became my biggest champs as I progressed lol. Glamorous? Uh…yeh sure…aspirin and simple green to clean up. Fun? Always lol. Love it. Would not trade it after 36years. Round two! These photos go prior to the last breeze up and into what is happening now!

Last week beginning saw some of the hardest conditions we have had in a while but by week’s end it did right itself again. Currents were up, waves shut the inlet and we were trolling and casting on the back. See those boys there in the chair?? THOSE are fishermen. THOSE are the kids that did not give up, ever. They have my personal card because not once did they let it phase them. They droped, rolled, jigged, and identified their species. Thank you boys. Truly.

As the vane switched and waters finally righted; out again we set for the troll and familiar territory.

Brothers and mothers, friends, family’s with the cell cameras and goody bags. Cloudy? Who cares! You are not stuck inside the four walls! Open air, emerging sunshine, and the re-start of our fishy migrations.

We have been a bit head of schedule on some of the species. Ribbon fish have already made an appearance. You cannot miss the toothy grin and we encourage folks to try some even though their appearance is out of a Tim Burton film! Perfect Halloween fish! It was all 20 and under this trip and they were again, Fishermen. They just had a good time, enjoyed it, and tried not to totally spaz…out 🙂

There are more pictures coming! We have been switching tackle as the bite changes and have been on our toes since the season opened. Scheduling is full force, 7 days a week right now with dates into August going under reservation. If you have an idea and would like to charter us; know I have returned every inquiry with a call or an answer.

I saw this, laughed, and want one now…Right on ! lol Hey, I came from the 70’s…don’t be judging!

I should be able to get more up here shortly. Weather is due to be great again next week with 80’s and sunshine! Yay summer! Today was Spanish, ribbons, one cobia release (folks he was a small one). As we catch it you will see it here!

I missed a phenomenal woman this afternoon as I had left my replacement in the cockpit for four hours. I was there in the morning. Know that I have your kind words, I have a second job that required me for something (yep Kevin it is all about you and Heidi!), and that I ALSO have a great photo of you with your catch which will be sported here eventually! Thank you! You rocked it! Fishing is ageless!
