Wait…it’s July???

I have been all over our social media and my poor web peeps have been horribly neglected. I am in the hockey penalty box, writing this, waiting to get back on the ice. SOOOOO sorry!

a beautiful orange sunrise on a bridge shinning on the flat bay waters

We have traveled countless times over the bridge to and from work. It is a meld of coffee, radio, and sleepy mornings before the towns wake. I think today is Junely. A cross between June and July.

It has been a summer full of fish out of sequence, adapting each trip maybe several times, bounty, getting your feelings hurt when nothing cooperated; what can you say? It has been fishing and yes, catching! Families have been placing their time on the calendar. Fishing friends have also been able to grab a few moments in between.

I want to thank those that keep booking, calling and hooking it up with us! We have been so lucky to have nice folks and being in our industry we appreciate that. This is a product we cannot control but we can take you there, show you what the Outer Banks was meant to be; nature, pretty, and laid back.

Leave the nay sayers at home! Come out for an afternoon or morning and break the beach routine! Lol , you would be surprised!

No matter what you have going on it is sometimes the basic elements that can cheer you up! A little Vitamin D, breeze, or cloud cover and sea salt can go a long way for “soul” repair.

We have seen Albies, some Kings (every once in a while), ribbon fish, shots on Spanish and drum ; we are seeing fishing change every 4 hours some days. We just have to put ourselves out there in the elements and take what nature is going to hand out!

I have round two of photos coming up! thank you to those coming in. We have been on schedule 7 days a week this year. If you have a day in mind that you want , please call to schedule that as slots are continually being booked. There is no “I will get back with you” on a later date. If you are responsible for booking a group just ask then to pony up so you are not left holding the bag! The real folks going will do that! lol
