Docked & Digging In

It is the height of season. As visitors make their way here, they settle in by Sunday and decide on what to do Monday-Friday. It is hard to believe that we have been docked physically-not just going “out of ” Oregon Inlet for more than 4 decades. Will ran two offshore boats from this marina prior to this purchase (of our own boat) so I feel as if I have been lucky to go along for the ride most days. So yes, you can physically find us every day at the same dock (#41) tied and with the gear and sunblock ready to fish!

Summer has finally arrived and we could not be more grateful! We have seen such a tough Spring weather wise that every day we can get out there and go to it, we do.

I can admit we are seeing our regulars (BLESS YOU) all the way through. We are also seeing many many first time anglers trying to figure it all out (see * at end of report). Fishing is fishing and weather is whether and that is how nature goes! Water temps and conditions can determine when, where, why as can time frame and venue.

We have seen blues run, few spanish, stray shark (ask on that as they are in predator mode), ribbonfish, ever once in a while just a peek at drum (those fish have been corralled by predators so not a big show this year yet). It changes every day.

If there is something you are trying to catch, then call us directly. Make sure it is even feasible for the time of year you are coming in! Weather is good this upcoming week: July 10th week-You can call direct if you wish as we take Visa and Mastercard. Just four people? You do not need to have 6 people to go! The boat is yours!

Thank you to those coming in! More coming up!

Please note when booking direct or online through the marina, just hop on our schedule as you can! We currently do not book through any third party sites or shops. We hope to continue to deal as close to our charters as possible to best serve your vacation time period!

***NEW ANGLERS: We currently book directly or on the online form through Oregon Inlet Marina only. Angler wise: you do not need experience. We have fished both ocean and sound and our goal is to try to follow the fish and work within weather conditions. BOAT: We have shade, a cabin, bathroom, five areas to sit in the cockpit (see instagram at sinbad_sportfishing. as we have 3 chairs and two cooler seats in the shade) all tackle and bait provided. Don’t get confused by “inshore/nearshore” as that has been a marina term that developed. Ask. Again-we attempt to stay on any fish and weather is whether more days.
