Sometimes we are fortunate enough to have a few spots to go through but know that it can change trip to trip! Ribbons have emerged and a few wipe out laters, I am assuming maybe something toothy on the bottom as well. We have had great new folks this year! If you want to stay updated on the nearshore catches then please see us here, on social media, or just plain ask.
I had a few calls on new folks who are getting a grasp that the gulfstream is 35 miles offshore and that trip is a big boat, all day. If you find something different, then that is up to that provider. We cannot comment on that.
We have drifted, jigged, trolled, baited, lured and crossed our fingers we continue to have the bites we have! July ushers in the typical 30% chance of rain and that can be on top of us or literally one township away ! It is a bit like Florida.
We have a few openings this week. I am stacked tomorrow and then quite a few mornings. We do not seem to have the heat on the water due to the breeze that folks have seen on land. Yay!
