Posted by After plenty of dock time we have returned to the water. We had a pretty cold start with the first trips being daunting.
Cold water, fish trying to move up made it a bit of a wait. We have begun to place the rigs in and get a bit. It really varies day to day depending on temps, movement, and winds. Catfish fleet were in waters too cold of late but that should change in a day or two.
Eventually, all salt teeth in the mix. We have fished for bass, blues, garnered a puppy drum for the pot in the end! Light tackle has been alot of fun and it all depends on whether we can get the conditions and who has already fished what. Easter has brought us the first families as well! There have been a few who have done the mini golf, Wright Brother’s , and now added a few hours of boat time to the mix.
That is always appreciated. We are so ready for summer and all the good things that come with it. I can ALMOST smell the sunblock lol. We have more trips coming up. Conditions will continue to vary based on the day so it will be a minute until our fish line up where we can count on that a bit.
Thank you to all who continue to fish us. We really appreciate it. Boat is shiny, clean, ready to go and we are too! Every day it is feasible we hope to be there.
