Our crews saw some great blues this year. Big ones, snappers, a few summer blues starting to show. They continue to migrate North and sooner or later, they will exit overall.
Spanish have also been in the catch on and off. They have been solid in size and fat content so for those that wanted that, we have seen a few.
I have had a few trigger trips as well and that for us we prefer 2-4 people. Know that if you are a family that is fine for six but our cockpit is short so we do better on that number of poles on that facet. Many of us have been on that for some time now so they will get picked through with the traffic! You now have that heads up! Weather has been great and EVEN when that offshore fleet was tied due to winds, the nearshore fleet continued to go forth and place them in the box. It still limits what we can do btw but know if it is feasible, we try!
I am getting some spinning time and I have placed my crew on the net. I am going to tell you; Jess and Austin were phenomenal on their timing and I would hire them on the spot for that!
