95,96,97 & There you are!

We had two weeks to play with the weather. Normally, it does not take that much time frame but my regulars were down for that period and it was clear that the first week was going to be it! We have more wind coming and another shake up due so three wonderful days were the opening! When it has been calm, there have been a few black sea bass to be caught. As we headed out with that intent, it was clear a few miles off that it was going to be a U turn, and back to the beaches. I was not in the bounce, the current was flying, and that window shut that day. We did have it the next two days but again, here comes the tie up.

the best

The Fosters have fished me before. I honestly thought that we hit it out of the park last few times. We have been fortunate. There has been quite a bit of shrimp around so not every group of birds yields what you want. Fish are moving, breeze ups have been huge, and any day I have what we need, that is a good one!

I notice my crew came prepared. Literally, a huge bunch of bananas in a bag. Why Lord…why….My “boss” in the corner chair celebrates 97years young this year. We made the group effort to carefully welcome him, put him in a lucky chair, and make our way. BTW, you are allowed to take mini naps then take the pole for a bite. I could tell that he was going to take in every appreciated moment.

Joy

The bite did not disappoint. What started out slow moved to four poles, birds, bites, and limits! Jake told me peanut butter crackers /nabs cancelled bananas so that I could get on board with. 🙂

One more year

They are so gracious. We had so much fun. We had a longer trip scheduled but with no chance of extending the mileage or species, we wrapped this perfectly up in a bow! He spent some time watching Will wrap things up as we waited for fish to be cleaned. I did not disturb that reflection. This man lives at home, is out and about, and you need to embrace everything possible.

I have missed some great folks last three weeks who seek us out. The conditions made it not worth untying. the boat. Corporate trips were here and playing golf, going regardless. I have more coming in but the app I have, shows red, tied up, and not leaving the dock. That is the only reason not to schedule as Fall is still swinging! If you can, check the piers, the beaches for drum on the breeze up! It has been good this Fall on sows.

** Remember pls: we have Park personnel showing up. Be kind, we thank them, and our vessel supports those folks right now in their day to day.

We may circle back in November. Rock is closed currently so it would be pretty ocean days and what moves. We will see post blow what may swim. We have nothing available currently online as we will be booking at home, so we can speak, after November 5th. That is the earliest we will look at it again.

thanks to those aboard and sorry to those we missed!
