And Holler…September it is!

Our days start early. I have always loved that. I can meet my neighbor’s dog at the fence, tell her I will sneak her peanut butter crackers as soon as “the boss” leaves for work! She is like 15…she has earned it! I also have to challenge Puss N Boots the neighbor’s and neighborhood cat reminding HER (ikr) that she does not live here, you must be drunk, go home!

Ribbons and lot of bait this year. Blues literally got pushed up the soundside during May with our first hurricane. Spanish hit the runs early and cobias got wings and went eight miles out lol. We rushed on every species. Drum kept us company even when trolling and we were happy to see that.

Girl power ruled the roost a bit on our boat. It NEVER fails. That person that comes along for fun, enjoys it, ends up catching the “winner winner chicken dinner” fish! I have released anything under or so young that honestly, it needs to grow. Citation still goes on the wall guys!

I have had great folks who had scheduled to be far and away for entering the next decade of age! What a compliment to have them along! I feel the same way. Travel is a blast and we appreciate any time we can be on the list. Don’t dwell on can’t; place a “can” on the list and go. Even if you are on staycation!

When the spanish did hit the dock we wrapped them up as quickly as possible! This is a sushi fish as well as one we see on the plate frequently from here to Florida and the Gulf! I have already put some up myself!

Catch them smiling and it is a win! Hard to do sometimes but any birthday out there can be fun and different! Cheers my friend!

More on the next update! Read “The Conveyor Belt” carefully as it will bring you into September 18th and current weather, fishing status.

thanks so much folks! Really appreciate the reviews you have left as well!
