August photos have gone into September and there is no denying; between Instagram, google , facebook, it is a challenge to merge somedays! For those of you on this site in the tried and true, let me catch you up on the 33 photos still to come.
Such great younger anglers this year on the breeze ups! We could all take a lesson on grabbing the pole, dropping the phone and list and drifting around! Late August saw the first true fishing on the backside for all the Fall faire. Trout, flounder (non keep until September came in), croaker and some blues. All left up to the angler to hook!
Ocean side we had a huge extended season on ribbons this year! Albies, ribbons, maybe a Spanish if you found one willing to crash the bait on the runs. We were constantly switching it up as fishing runs changed within hours.
You could go with your “best friend” or completely show up and take the boat with us by yourself! I have had a few “escapees” this year just looking for a breath of fresh air. Sunny skies kept us moving and rain put the fish into pre-bite mode.
Bring your cameras, bring your crew, put on the sun block and go! It was about what would happen in the hours for the trip and what was biting! 85F water kept us hopping!
Many times we forget to take it all in. Just let your mind meander a bit as we head out . We constantly think about where, how, when, and the luck that technology won’t replace. Sorry. Sad but true! Technology does not make them bite.
Have fun with the friends, the family, whomever you want to tag along! All up to you!
We can keep, release, video, photo snap and still have a good time! We have such a short window to show you. It may seem like four hours dock to dock is alot but it can pass by quickly.
I have another round coming up on photos. I will also give you a weather update as of today, September 18th, 2020. Look for that in these blogs and lets keep moving folks! September, October look to be seeing visitors right on through.
thanks to all here who have waited on photos!
