No doubt our weather is acting more like the deep South than just Mid Atlantic! Someone threw a switch this week that gave us beautifully calm seas and sunny skies. We have had good fishing this year so I cannot complain. It has been a complete visual last few days.

Our crews have gotten on some fish, sporadic cast time, and occasional dolphin show. We had sharks meandering today (no, I am not a shark boat-we do catch some but no.) and they were in the middle of all the bait moving around .

Folks have been great to work with this year! Weather permitting we do our best to work with what nature has to give us. We are starting to see hotter water and signs the ribbons may be slooooowwwllly seeping in.

If you are scheduled we appreciate it! We cannot control what is where as the Outer Banks juts out into the Atlantic. Rather than book then tell us what you may be thinking-just call us prior to booking to see what may be running and what it might take. Changing technique is fun but also brings different results in some cases and it depends on where the healthiest bite may be on that hour.

We have a great core client list and our new folks are always , always appreciated. Part of that will ever be in communication between you and us.

There are certain species that run and there are certain species you treat like Marlin fishing. You will want to know what is involved before you board. The catches did vary day to day this past week and sometimes hour to hour! In the morning one species, afternoon may be hunting for another. We are going fishing. That is what it is. It sounds so blase ,I know, but it is the truth. I have more coming up in the reels and such on social but for now, know that this summer has been an early start and everything is rigged up! I still run release trips and that is part of fishing also.
Thank you to those aboard!
