OK, all my supporters here know me. Tell it like it is, don’t shine it-we are real people trying every day we untie. You want a gorilla chest beater? Wrong place, my friend. 43 years and I will cheer you on! You know how by this time we are “so this is here, this needs this condition, this is good, this is harder…” Yeah, no! One trip sunny, next trip some rain. One trip “hey this was so easy” literally next day “well, how far did you go down/up/out? Are you picking or is that a wash??” What you don’t hear on the chatter. We ALL..every boat work.

That has been the chatter. Summer is here and our people: they are the rockstars, Not a harsh word, plenty of smiles, some folks are decompressing (I had one that had 35 people in the home…ya’ll just need to sit in my yard and take 5. So sorry for you I don’t think my family would personally tolerate me like that but you guys rock). We have had some regulars really get fantastic trips this year. Species they normally don’t get-some they limited on. My new folks get to know the boat, hang out with Will and Caine for a bit, and be somewhere they don’t normally go!

We had a weird/sudden push of small shark that stretched for miles one day. Then the spanish blizt, then just a few, and on and on lol. Same day we saw a massive great hammerhead and other offshore.
Some light tackle when weather was good and trips longer. Plenty of company this summer and my kids on board? Oh heck yeh. Love them all day long! Drum showing….tapping my foot. We had acres and reliability last year by this time and we scope it daily. I will say-yesterday we finally saw the boomers and some rain. We have got to have it folks. It places a balance in the sound and ocean that we need. It is actually part of the salinity! It is part of the sound versus ocean migration and systems and when that changes, it can tip things. I have the temps and rain is part of that.

Patterns are changing daily and we flex the tackle this year. It was a brutal…bruuuutal tackle organization in storage this year and I think I won’t have to purchase hardly anything. THAT is what I told the “boss.” NO BUYING UNLESS IT IS AN EMERGENCY! lol Does anyone else go through that??? Is it tools? Shoes? Outdoor gear???
I was reminded :swag. It is on my list. I have an idea-just on my list with a mountain of things.
I still have more coming. We are open tomorrow but honestly, fishing every day right now if the boat rests tomorow, based on the last two weeks, I think a nap is ok. We are stacking trips beyond that. We continue to book just through the marina and our home. If for some reason, you see us somewhere else, contact me below. My number is there and no, again-we are only through the marina and our home based on trying to speak with our groups!
Thank you and more as we know it!
