Summer has officially arrived here but it was no easy task getting here! A Tropical Storm, a 45mph blow, a depression then FINALLY; could this be it??? It appears to be! Back on the water the fish are tardy to organize but we are bending the poles, fishing the coast, and enjoying the photos folks have sent us!
What started out a a bite here and there is working to school up for the summer runs. Blues and Spanish have begun to eat.
Occasionally a cobia is seen or landed with many of us jigs in the air, poles in every holder!
I have had folks that are so happy to be here. Know we appreciate you all! We are doing the best to let you relax, have some fun, catch a few, maybe see the dolphin show, and be part of your time here. Nature never guarantees anything but an experience of some type. I get alot of “which is better? Morning or Afternoon??? ” very normal. It fluctuates right along. We work within that but know that she is the big boss always lol
Don’t snooze (unless you are here and it is awesome on new cushions lol)! I am editing photos, booking trips into August right now , and answering every inquiry as fast as possible. If we are fishing that means in between trips on the way in or out! I have already had to say “no” a few times due to our schedule so please if you already have your cottage reservations and this is something you want to do; email through the site, leave a message, have your information ready so we can get that slot and get you set up! Appreciate the opportunities we are being given!
