We did some trout, mullet etc. and switched back up again today. Let me catch up on the last few weeks as fast as possible as folks have had to text me for photos! A thousand pardons. Honestly, by next week we will be tapping our toes as kids go or have gone virtually back to school. Prior to that I managed to grab some local talent to spot me when I got called away! Thank you Lance, Jaden, and Noah (king crusher) for the help!
Most days you can still find us both side by side fishing as hard as we can as we never know what the Fall will bring. We had very few shots on Spanish but when we did it paid in spades!
We also have had so many shots on ribbon fish this year. Toothy grins, bigger tackle, and a lesson for anglers on eating and how predatory they can be. Take a good look on the right as well. Credit goes to Noah and Will as this nice 50lb king broke a rod at the butt! It smoked it guys and yet he and Will somehow got lucky enough to land it. Mono leader….LUCKY…Nicest one I have had in years and I thank the anglers for doing such a fine job!
Never let it be said you have to have six persons; you do not! I have had couples, groups of four as well as Father and daughters! BTW, the dads crewed for the girls on that trip and they smoked the boys on another boat because they did it by themselves. Nice job ladies-come back any time!
you need to take a break. You need to get some “me” time that you mandate! Breathe a bit of salt, hang with us for a bit, and just remember you can find a horizon with no end. It’s fine folks. You are allowed.
We have occasionally had our shots on drum as well as the Fall approaches. Better showings for a cast up helped alot!
Remember they are release only for us in the size we happen to catch! No crying in baseball . Everyone has been great on that score! We are stacked this week but open this weekend into next week. Lets get out there while it is great, the weather is pretty, and we can just enjoy some normalcy!
Books have opened already for next year in terms of slotting your day. The protocol is that we will be happy to pencil you in. After the New Year if we hear nothing then the date is erased. I have taken solid cell numbers. No deposit means no trip. You are welcome to book on the fly and that sometimes is great! I said “no” quite a bit this year because we have been so busy and I appreciate everyone thinking of us on their vacation!
