Posted by It has been seven days a week for a while now. This summer and last opened the door for outside time, families, extended relatives, and pets in tow. We have been shifting fishing gears after each weather event be it tropical or cold front to keep pace with how fishing goes up and down!
Trust me, we have been suiting up, getting aboard, and crossing our fingers it all shakes out like a champ! By the way; by far the most chill dog I have had to date! This has to be cleared by us way ahead of time as it is not the norm but recognize this fur baby also sports a life preserver! lol
It was a privilege to take these two gentlemen (hey we love the dad time!) who knew the difference between catching and fishing! It was the one day the black tips were unstoppable (and I looked the next three days and they were gone like Forrest Gump) and they walked away with their first salt water citations! Congratulations! We appreciate the fact you knew how fortunate you were and worked with us as they made lunch out of the original spanish mack gear lol.
The first spanish pushed through fast no matter what the water temperatures were up North. We were happy to have them for tacos and the fish fry but as more tropical lows pushed through (one per week guys), we spent time between the sound and the ocean. We alternated where we thought we could bend that pole!
The days are long, it is salty work, and mother nature rules. I have a slew of photos coming up! I am sorry to be tardy but there is little daylight these days that are not spent in work mode ! Keep reading here as I will be updating the Kings, Drum report, emerging ribbonfish the last 48 hrs.

current report 7/10/2021:we are fishing ribbons maybe a false albie. We have a small front due today. Fishing has been challenging as we are just now losing the swell that has plagued us during the last two storms! You can catch some OR get your feelings hurt. I will post more tomorrow and bring us all up to speed! Next opening is the 16th.
