Bookings, Bites, SW winds

The nearshore fleet on this end has been very lucky overall. We have made so many days others may not have. SW winds dominated this summer. You may notice along the beaches the temperature is not the warmer water you normally have nor can you see your feet all the time in 12ft. of water. Moderate green water has been the order of the summer and that has dictated some of what we have been doing.

Would I trade the winds for NE winds? Probably not. It has not drastically changed the landscape this year post blows. It has kept our clear blue water out of the sound. Normally, I can head back there as well and see the shoals, the sand on the bottom. This can change later towards Fall as the NE weather pattern sets up!

Bookings: I have had to turn away some great folks! I know you have found great crews but again, if you think you are ready to book, I would get on the books to do so. It helps us out to understand when you get in, what day you booked, and where you are staying! I have had some occasional fast days where we were in early and it allowed people to go home , settle in, then come back later to pick their fish up! We have not been exercising the third trip option. The breezes have kept us cooler on the water I feel than when I come in on land! I can see why folks are at the pool or inside!

Hours: if you have not been here in two years the hours have changed and so have the prices! Fuel and other items rose and boats did as well in all marinas. The new hours now allow our afternoon crews to be in no later than 3pm and have their fish cleaned up prior to most of the tuna fleet arriving at the end of their day.

NEXT OPENINGS: August 6th am, August 7th am, August 8th am , pm, 3/4 trip

if you need a 3/4 trip on the 6th or 7th please book that directly with us versus the marina.

Social Media of Facebook, Instagram has kept us up on the moment . You can access that by clicking the icons on our site!
