Sun, surf, cast, repeat!

It has been a nice start to the season to have great folks back to back and a bit of Spring! This is the time of year we have to track the water and it has kept us untied. The recent warm up has helped us follow some fish on the troll, the bottom, and the jig. Ocean can be too cold some days so know we just got off some sharks we had recently and it can always revert.

cockpit of boat with many anglers hooked up , poles bent on small blues.

We had a nice class of taylor blues hit us last week (lucky to have help this year) and we were grateful for the double up on the poles. Bring a jacket, some jeans, what you eat and drink and enjoy not being on land! New carpet, new cushions and we are ready to go. My clients have noticed that I last two years I have been back and forth seven days a week. I so appreciate the support and I have my sunglasses and HUK ready for Monday.

We are booking for June steadily as the families descend on the beach so please call if there is a particular date you are interested in. For those of you who now own homes here via me and sales; our BBQ’s gatherings are increasing (that’s you Heidi and Kev). So much fun!

Remember that the fishing changes as we warm up and we truly are hoping for no weather set backs to get on track for all the migrations! I was around Nags Head Pier yesterday as well and saw some mullet and other fare come up out of the surf. Gracias/thanks/ Obrigada and see you dockside!
