Is This It???

So we had fog, rain, thirty mile hour winds, haze from the Canadian fires that drifted to our shores and, is this it? Is this June and summer days? I see sun, some good water lately, fish starting to make their way.

Good Morning Sunshine!

Yes! I think this MIGHT be it! I am still not removing my jackets from the boat but I am settling into my fishing gear. Crews have been jumping around from venue to venue. We have been sound side, oceanside, troll, bottom, pop, and just plain rigged it all.

After almost forty years here, we can honestly say we continue to flex and learn. It is easy to jump in a boat and give a general report that is published. It is harder when you are a professional that is trying to stay on top of it and flexing when your instinct may say otherwise. Ribbons made a bit of an early appearance. I spoke with some stat folks and they agree just a hare early. We love our families. Always! If you get anything from our pictures know that we value them. It is a chance to be somewhere different.

Tia! Well done!

We had Spanish and blues early but they were set back temporarily by a two week gauntlet of weather. We still managed some on the inside but now back in the ocean we have begun to see that movement again. Cobias had their first push as well and we are now just seeing a few here or there. Some days visible, some not.

As we approach mid June know that we are exploring all our options overall. Remember it is not a hard science in that we can fish one day on one species and another day changes it up completely. Mother Nature is the boss and please remember that it is a natural “product.” lol We just move throughout its realm a bit.

What? That it? It is for today! I have more photos coming. Videos can be found on our social media on Instagram as well as Facebook.

June is looking nice! We have tomorrow morning open but are pretty stacked right now. If there is calm weather, you really have a day you have to be aboard then give us a call and we will see what we can do. If you know when you are coming in, please give us a shout! Love a chance to take you. Although fishing is never guaranteed, we always do our best. The boat has cover, shade, bathroom, seats in the cockpit and we are ready for 2023.

Thank you so much to my regulars who are on the books regardless. They are why we have been so successful. To our newer anglers who have fished us in moments we really appreciate you.
