Blues, Cobia and the Tale

We continued on some good conditions this week and I was so grateful that Will and Caine could keep my regulars right on track. Sunny skies or cloudy; it is not quite like fresh water. When it is too hot, the fish like a shake up! Too cold? The fish want a different wind. My crew from Buffalo and surrounding areas are just the all around best people. 18 years and counting.

the only keeper in a pack of 4! score!

This year, we are fortunate enough to have two groups of them as the “boss” is staying more than a week. JOY! They went right to work this time on their favorite blues, popped some Spanish, then hit the cast for cobia. We had been seeing some younger fish this time around. Lots of release size fish but also a few keepers. You just have to be lucky, stay alert, and hope you get the conditions.

Good Karma-good fishing! Gracias!!!!

There is a…lot…of…boats. It is a city so understand you are not hidden away in some nook where no one can see you lol. Dream ON! I want to thank them again for all they do, the good trips they have had, the hard ones they never, ever said a sour word on. We always put in the work and they always come back. They fish enough to know and are never armchair quarterbacks! That is a fishermen.

We have round two coming up. More on the way! Thanks to all!
