No lie: one day easy then next day can be rewarding but also like someone picked up a fish and slapped you with it. That smack of reality!

My crews have all brought great attitudes and that makes the difference. You are not in the office, not stuck in school, maybe not with 100 relatives (yes , yes we know you love them) so outside it is! What is not to like? The waters are working hard to catch up temperature wise.

Finally some good winds, good heat, and we are hoping it stays in position. We have had nature shows, long bites, short bites, and Instagram sees our bytes more often than not. Some triggers, spanish, then small blues, then big ones. Again this year, a showing of some big blues. Now before we think this is NJ-no. Not our summer fish.

They normally put their tails up and move North. Not on the average hanging around all summer. It has been great last two years to see such a nice showing like we had 40 years ago. Cycle and Cycle it is.

Cobia season was like a sneeze. No surprise. Always looking anyways as they continue to migrate. We have bottom fished when we could get the wind do lay out-predators can kill that bite. We have seen a monster increase in 3/4 trips. People really want that extra time on the water and that is what it is. Extra time. You don’t have to and half days still our number one “go to” time slot.
We have slots open coming up so call Will to schedule that at 252.423.0039 cell. He will definitely call you back! We concentrate on what is happening in the pit but never to busy not to answer.

Thanks to you all. Again-grateful our regulars who are here rain and shine. They have fished it all : the good, the bad, the ugly and weird! lol. To our newer guests: lets go have a good time! No questions are bizarre.
